Article 540 – Prescriptions of two years - The remuneration of lawyers, the salaries of judicial attorneys and advances made by them prescribe by a lapse of two years. § Sole paragraph: Such prescription starts as against advocates and attorneys from the day their power of attorney ceases to operate.
