Article 926 – Extent of mortgage and additional security for the same - The mortgage referred to in the preceding article, when consisting of assets, expressly designated for the security of the “dot”, may be registered only in respect of such assets. § 1 - If, for any reason such mortgage has become ineffective, the wife, as well as those who granted the “dot”, may apply that the same mortgage be reinforced. § 2 - In the absence of indication of the assets or failure to reinforce the mortgage, the same shall be registered in respect of any assets belonging to the husband, save the right which he has to reduce it to just limits.
