Section 40. Suspension of Development Plan in emergency by Government.

40. Suspension of Development Plan in emergency by Government.— If the Government is satisfied that a grave emergency exists which necessitates the suspension of any Development Plan or part thereof, it may, by notification, suspend such Development Plan or part, for such period as it thinks fit.
