1[83A. (1) No person shall acquire land by transfer where such transfer or acquisition is invalid under any of the provisions of this Act. (2) Any person who acquires land in contravention of sub-section (1) shall, in the event of the transfer or acquisition being decided or declared invalid, be liable to suffer, the consequences under section 84 or 84C as the case may be.]
