Section 42. Control of State Government.

All orders or proceedings under this Act, other than orders or proceedings of the District Court, shall be subject to the supervision and control of 8[ ***] the State Government and 8[* * ] the State Government may, if 9[ * * ] it thinks fit, revise, modify, or reverse any such order or proceeding, whether an appeal is presented against any such order or proceeding or not.
