Section 158. Power of arrest by whom to be exercised.

158. 1[ The State Government may ] from time to time, declare by what officers, or class of officers, the powers of arrest conferred by section 157 may be exercised, and also fix the costs of arrest and the amount of subsistance money to be paid by [ the 2[State] Government ] to any defaulter under detention or imprisonment.
