Section 25. Punishment for verification of talse plaint.

25. Any plaintiff subscribing and verifying any plaint under this Act which he either knows or belives to be false, or does not believe to be true, in any material point, shall be deemed to have committed an offence punishable under section 193 of the 39[Indian Penal Code].
