1. Short title, extent and commencement. (1) This Act may be called the Saurashtra Land Reforms Act, 1951. (2) It extends to the whole of 2[Saurashtra area of the 3[State of Gujarat]]. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the 4[Government] may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.+
