Section 56. Town Planning Officer to assist Board in advisory capacity and his remuneration.

56. (1) The Town Planning Officer shall be present at the proceedings before the Board of Appeal. (2) The Town Planning Officer shall not be required to give evidence in such proceedings but the President may require him to assist the Board in an advisory capacity. (3) When the Town Planning Officer is required under sub-section (2) to assist the Board of Appeal, he shall, save, where he is a salaried officer of Government, be entitled to such fees as the State Government may from time to time determine.
