Section 19. Power of seizure and forfeiture of property.

19. (1) A police officer arresting any person for an offence punishable under sub-section (1) of section 17 shall seize all movable property used by such person in the commission of the offence and all moneys collected by him in pursuance of such offence. (2) Whenever any offence punishable under sub-section (1) of section 17 has been committed, the court shall direct that all movable property and all moneys seized under sub-section (1) shall be forfeited to the State Government.
