Section 9-AA. 1[Pro Vice-Chancellor

1 9AA 1. The Pro Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed by the Chancellor on the advice of the Government on such terms and conditions of service determined by him on the advice of the Government. He shall not be below the rank of a Professor. 2. The Pro- Vice- Chancellor shall hold office for a period of three years which may be renewed for not more than one term. Provided that no person shall be appointed to, or continue in the office of the Pro Vice – Chancellor if, he has attained the age of 2[68] years. 3. The Pro Vice-Chancellor shall exercise such duties as are assigned to him by the Vice-Chancellor."]
