This Act was repealed on 6 November 2019 by the Himachal Pradesh Repealing Act, 2019 (11 of 2019), s.2 and Schedule; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1. Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Livestock and Birds Diseases Act, 1968. (2) It extends to the whole of Himachal Pradesh. (3) This section shall come into force at once and the Government may, by notification, bring the rest of the Act or any part of it into force in Himachal Pradesh or in any area in Himachal Pradesh on such date1 and for such period as may be specified in the notification.
