Section 41. Repeal and savings.
The Himachal Pradesh Livestock and Birds Diseases Act, 1968
This Act was repealed on 6 November 2019 by the Himachal Pradesh Repealing Act, 2019 (11 of 2019), s.2 and Schedule; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
41. Repeal and savings.- The East Punjab Animal Contagious Diseases Act, 1948 (47 of 1948), as in force in the areas comprised in Himachal Pradesh immediately before 1st November, 1966 and the Punjab Livestock and Birds Diseases Act, 1948, as in force in the areas transferred to Himachal Pradesh under section 5 of the Punjab Re-organisation Act, 1966, (31 of 1966), are hereby repealed: Provided that anything done or any action taken or any proceedings commenced or continued under the aforesaid Acts shall be deemed to have been done, taken, commenced or continued under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
