Section 6. Procedure for submitting application.
THE HIMACHAL PRADESH LOKTANTRA PRAHRI SAMMAN ACT, 2021
This Act was repealed on 1 April 2023 by the Himachal Pradesh Loktantra Prahri Samman (Repealing) Act, 2023 (43 of 2025), s.2, deemed in force from 1 April 2023 by its s.1(2) (https://prsindia.org/files/bills_acts/acts_states/himachal-pradesh/2025/Act43of2025HP.pdf); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
6. Procedure for submitting application.-(1) The LoktantraPrahri shall apply to the Administrative Secretary in the General Administration Department in such manner as may be prescribed along with certificate of detention in the jail or police station. (2) In case of jail, a certificate of Superintendent of Jail and in case of police station, a certificate of Superintendent of Police shall be attached compulsorily and submitted to the Administrative Secretary in the General Administration Department by the LoktantraPrahri.
