300. Corrupt practices entailing disqualifications. - The corrupt practices specified in section 301 shall entail disqualification for membership of a municipality for a period of six years counting from the date on which the finding of the authorised officer as to such practice has been given: Provided that the Government may, for reasons to be recorded, remove the disqualification or reduce the period thereof.
