118. Obstruction in Police work.- Any person who obstructs the discharge of lawful duties and functions of a Police Officer may be arrested without a warrant and shall, on conviction, be punishable with simple imprisonment not exceeding three months or with fine not exceeding five thousand rupees or with both.
