Section 57. Penalty for failure to furnish information, etc.

57. Penalty for failure to furnish information, etc. No person shall,--- (a) make any statement or furnish any document which the person knows or has reason to believe to be false in any material particular; or (b) omit to state any material fact knowing it to be material; or (c) wilfully alter, suppress or destroy any document which is required to be furnished.
