22-AX. Penalty for Removal of any Mark. If any person removes any mark set up for the purpose of indicating any level, boundary line or direction necessary to the execution of works authorized under this Chapter, he shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months or with fine, which shall not be less than five thousand rupees, but may extend to ten thousand rupees.
