1. Short title, extent and commencement. (1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Industrial Establishments (National and Festival) Holidays Act, 1974. (2) It extends to the 1[whole of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir]. (3) It shall come into force on such 2date as the Government may by notification in the 3[Official Gazette] appoint.
