THE JAMMU AND KASHMIR MUNICIPAL ACT, 2000
139. Previous notice. Except in cases to which sections 222 to 224 relate, the municipality shall cause not less than fourteen days’ notice in writing to be given to the owner or occupier before commencing any operations under section 137.
