307-A. Power of Government to appoint officers and servants 1[307 A. Power of Government to appoint officers and servants. ––(1) The Government or any officer authorised by it in this behalf may appoint such officers and servants as it considers necessary for the efficient discharge of duties by the Municipality. (2) The salary, allowances, gratuity, pension contribution and other payments required to be made, in accordance with the conditions of the services to the officers and officials employed for the discharge of duties of the Municipality under this Act, shall be charged from the Municipal Fund in the prescribed manner.]
