Section 61. Youthful offenders.

61. Youthful offenders. Subject to the provisions of *[section 562] of the 1[Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974)], a Panchayati Adalat may, instead of passing sentence, discharge, after due admonition an offender who in its opinion was on the date of the commission of offence not over 2[eighteen years of age].
