Section 8. Transfer of cases from one Sessions Judge to another.

8. Transfer of cases from one Sessions Judge to another. (1) The Government may, at any stage of the proceedings before a Session Judge, transfer the case to another Sessions Judge. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code, when a case is transferred under sub-section (1) the Sessions Judge to whom the case is transferred shall not be bound to resummon or rehear the witnesses or any of them.
