1. Short title, extent and commencement. This Act may be called 1Sher-i-Kashmir Universities of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Act, 1982. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the 2[Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir]. 3[(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may by notification in the 4[Government Gazette] appoint.]
