25. Power to delegate. The Government may, by notification in the 1[Official Gazette], direct that any power exercisable by it under this Act except the power to make rules may also be exercised by such officer or local authority as may be mentioned therein, in such cases and subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified therein.
