Section 164. Penalty for intentionally injuring works.

164. Penalty for intentionally injuring works. Whoever maliciously causes water to be wasted or diverted or with intent to cut off the supply of water, cuts or injuries, or attempts to cut or injure, any water supply line or feeder canal or works shall be liable to punishment of fine may extend to ten thousand rupees, besides recovery of cost of restoration thereof.
