Section-17: Person exercising power under this Act deemed to be public servants :- All Competent authority, Veterinary Officers, Appealing authority and any other persons exercising power under this Act shall be deemed to be public servant within the meaning of Section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (45 of 1860).
