This Act was repealed on 1 July 2017 by the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, s.174; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1. Short title, extent and commencement – (1) This Act may be called the Jharkhand Entertainments Tax Act, 2012. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Jharkhand. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, direct.
