Section 31. Repeal and saving.

This Act was repealed on 1 July 2017 by the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, s.174; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
31. Repeal and saving.- (1) The Jharkhand Entertainment Tax Ordinance, 2012 (Jharkhand Ordinance No. 02, 2012) is hereby repealed. (2) Nothwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken in exercise of any power conferred by or under the said ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken on exercise of the powers conferred by or under this Act as of this Act were in force on the date on which such thing was done or action taken.
