This Act was repealed on 1 July 2017 by the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, s.174; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1. Short title, extent and commencement – (1) This Act may be called the Jharkhand Entry Tax on Consumption or Use of Goods Act, 2011. (2) It extends to all local areas in Jharkhand. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
