9. Chancellor of the University: (i) The Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court shall be the Chancellor of the University, (ii) The Chancellor shall appoint the Vice-Chancellor of the University in accordance with the procedure prescribed in the Statute of the University in this regard.
