Section 100 Inspection of working of Panchayat - 1. The State Government, for inspection of the working of Gram Panchayats, the Panchayat Samities or the Zila Parishad, may duly authorize any such officers to inspect their working, subject to the specific rules. 2. The Officer authorized under sub-section (1), for the purposes of inspection of Gram Panchayats, the Panchayat Samities, the Zila Parishads, shall exercise such powers as may be prescribed. 3. The Office-bearer, officers and servants of the Gram Panchayat, the Panchayat Samiti and the Zila Parishad shall be obliged to give all such information and produce all such records as may be called for by the Inspecting Officer.
