Jharkhand Panchayat Raj Act, 2001_English

Section 149 Entry etc. for purposes of the Act :- It shall be lawful for the officers of a Panchayat or an officer authorised on its behalf by the said Panchayat that he/ along with such Assistants whom he deem necessary, enter any land or building or in respect of any work relating to the said Panchayat, between sun-rise and sun-set; Provided that any building, which is in occupation of that time shall be entered into until a twenty four hour notice in writing has been served; Provided further also that in case of a building used as human - dwelling, the social and religious customs of the occupants shall be duly kept in mind.
