Section 151 Election Petition :- (1) An election held under this Act shall be called in question only by filing a petition in the prescribed manner and not otherwise, to - (i) The sub divisional officer in matters of a Gram Panchayat; (ii) The District magistrate/ Deputy Commissioner in matters of a Panchayat Samiti; and (iii) The Divisional Commissioner in matters of a Zila Parishad. (2) No such petition shall be entertained unless it is filed within a period of thirty days from the date on which the election in question was notified. (3) Such petition shall be examined and disposed of according to the procedure, as may be prescribed.
