Section 158 Disestablishment of a village :- (1) The Governor or the authority authorised by him may, by an order in writing, disestablish a village; Provided that such order shall not be made unless such notice of the proposal, inviting objections by the date specified therein from the persons likely to be affected thereby, is published in the prescribed manner and the objections received are considered into. (2) On an order under sub-section (1) having been issued, the governor or prescribed authority may pass such consequential order as may be necessary.
