Section 62 Rectification of Clerical Error or Omissions - Notwithstanding any thing contained in this Act or the Rules made thereunder, any clerical error or omission relating to reservation of seats under section (17), (21), (22), (36), (40), (51) and (55), which is apparent on more perusal of the record, may be rectified by the prescribed Authority on behalf of the State Government or with prior permission of the Officer Authorized for this purpose, any time before commencement of the election proceedings.
