This Act was repealed on 15 May 2025 by the Greater Bengaluru Governance Act, 2024 (Karnataka Act 36 of 2025), s.361(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
137. Objects not provided for by this Act.- The Government may with the consent of the corporation transfer to the corporation the management of any institution or the execution of any work not provided for by this Act and it shall thereupon be lawful for the corporation to undertake such management or execution: Provided that, in every such case the funds required, for such management or execution shall be placed at the disposal of the corporation by the Government.
