Section 176. Provisions applicable on the introduction of transfer duty.

This Act was repealed on 15 May 2025 by the Greater Bengaluru Governance Act, 2024 (Karnataka Act 36 of 2025), s.361(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
176. Provisions applicable on the introduction of transfer duty.-(1)Section 28 of the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957 shall be read, as if it specifically required the particulars to be set forth separately in respect of property situated within and outside the limits of the Corporation. (2) Section 64 of the same Act shall be read as if it referred to the corporation as well as the Government.
