Section 202. Establishment of Sinking Fund.

202. Establishment of Sinking Fund.-(1) The Corporation shall establish a Sinking Fund in respect of each loan raised under this Chapter for the repayment of moneys borrowed and shall, every year pay into such Sinking Fund such sum as shall be sufficient for the repayment, within the period fixed for the loan, of the moneys borrowed. (2) If at any time the sum standing at the credit of a Sinking Fund established under this Act for repayment of any loan is of such amount that if allowed to accumulate at the rate of interest sanctioned, the Chief Commissioner with the prior approval of the Mayor discontinue the further payment towards such a fund.
