Section 1. Short title and extent. THE KARNATAKA DEVADASIS (PROHIBITION OF DEDICATION) ACT, 1982.

1. Short title and extent.- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1982.
(2) It extends to the whole State of Karnataka.
