1. Short title, extent and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the 1[Karnataka]1 Fire Force Act, 1964. (2) It extends to the whole of the 1[State of Karnataka]1. (3) It shall come into force in any area on such 1[date]1 as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different areas.
