Section 130. Method of voting and procedure for election.

130. Method of voting and procedure for election.- (1) Every elector shall have as many votes as there are members to be elected. No elector shall give more than one vote to any one candidate. (2) Subject to the provisions of this Act, elections to the Taluk Panchayat shall be held by ballot in accordance with such rules as may be prescribed. 1[ 2[XXX]2 ]1 (3) The provisions of sections 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 1[31A, 31B]1 , 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40 shall apply in respect of elections to Taluk Panchayat as they apply to elections to Grama Panchayats.
