1. Short title, extent and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the 1[Karnataka]1 Habitual Offenders Act, 1961. (2) It extends to the whole of the 1[State of Karnataka]1. (3) It shall come into force on such 1[date]1 as the Government may by notification in the Official Gazette appoint.
