1. Short title, extent and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the 1[Karnataka]1 Homœopathic Practitioners Act, 1961. (2) It extends to the whole of the 1[State of Karnataka]1. (3) Chapters I, IV and VI shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force on such 1[date]1 as the State Government may by notification appoint.
