1. Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the 1[Karnataka]1 Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965, (2) It extends to the whole of the 1[State of Karnataka]1. (3) It shall come into force on such 1[date]1 as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different areas of the State.
