Section 12. Designated officer.

This Act was repealed on 26 March 2018 by the Karnataka Tank Conservation and Development Authority and Certain Other Law (Amendment) Act, 2018 (Karnataka Act 15 of 2018), s.19; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
12. Designated officer.- (1) The Authority may designate or appoint any officer as designated officer to be in-charge of one or more lakes to ensure their protection, conservation, development and for any other purpose. (2) The designated officers shall exercise powers under this Act and such other powers as the Authority may by a special or general order confer upon them.
