Section 54. Premium recoverable as arrears of land revenue.

54. Premium recoverable as arrears of land revenue.—(1) If a tenant or sub-tenant fails to make payment of any instalment in accordance with the provisions of the foregoing sections 1[x x x]1, the amount of such instalment shall also be recoverable as an arrear of land revenue. (2) The amount recovered under sub-section (1) shall be deposited with the 1[Tahsildar]1.
