Section 76. Taking possession of land vested in State Government.

76. Taking possession of land vested in State Government.—Where under the provisions of this Chapter any land vests in the State Government, the 1[Tahsildar]1 may, after removing any obstruction that may be offered, forthwith take possession of the land.
