THE KARNATAKA LIFTS ACT, 1974

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Karnataka Lifts, Escalators and Passenger Conveyors Act, 2012 (Karnataka Act 9 of 2013), s.25; it may still apply to matters that began before then.

17. Sanction for prosecution.- No prosecution for any offence punishable under this Act shall be instituted except with the previous sanction of the Government.
