Section 21. Repeal.

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Karnataka Lifts, Escalators and Passenger Conveyors Act, 2012 (Karnataka Act 9 of 2013), s.25; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
21. Repeal.- On the date on which this Act comes into force the Bombay Lifts Act, 1939 (Bombay Act 10 of 1939) as in force in the Belgaum Area shall stand repealed: Provided that sections 8 and 24 of the 1[Karnataka]1 General Clauses Act, 1899 shall be applicable as if the said enactment had been repealed and re-enacted by this Act.
